COMUAS DAS ENXOVIAS

At the beginning of the restoration, the comuas (bathrooms) das enxovias (dungeons) had a thick layer of concrete and ceramic toilets on top.

When the toilets and the concrete layer were removed, carved soapstone were found, which served as toilets, and below them was the sewage system, where running water was used to clean the waste.
