hydraulic and sewage system

From the design to the construction of the  Mariana City Council and Jai, care was taken with the water supply within it.

The auction agreement, which provides for all services to be performed, shows in detail how such service should be performed.

Pipes carved from stone were used to carry water to the prison.

The water came from the main pipe that passed through the front street and reached a fountain that distributed it to the cells and there was also a valve outside where it was possible to control the water entry.

Interestingly, bathrooms were built inside the cells, with carved stone serving as a toilet with a hole in the center, where the needs made there fell into an underground tube that had running water, cleaning the bathrooms.
